2018 is going to be great! This year we are very excited to offer a CSA for the 9th year. We will be starting on May 30th and going through September to offer 16 weeks. The cost for the season will be $400 for a full share, produce every week, and $250 for a half share, produce every other week. We will again be offering eggs and a cheese add on. Pickup in Lincoln will be at Meadowlark at 16th and South,on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm.
What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is based on a simple philosophy: reconnect people to their food that is locally produced, with the environment in mind. You form a relationship with the farmer and in turn your food source. The benefits of becoming a member are:
Fresh local food: Your food is grown within an hour of your house! We are one hour from both Omaha and Lincoln located in the beautiful Bohemian Alps. We are committed to growing things naturally and selling locally.
Experience: Joining a CSA is an adventure! Each week you receive produce that is at the peak of ripeness. You are introduced to new vegetables while receiving your favorites. The farmers are quick with information on exactly where that vegetable grew and how they like to prepare them. You get to eat seasonally and really enjoy the movement of the season. We start out with fresh greens in the spring, move to those bold summer flavors and end with crops that can be stored through the winter. You have less hands handling your food and can see what has happened to it from the plant to your plate.
Community: You get the experience of being a part of two local family farms and the benefits of being a part of them. You get to connect with us and get to know our farms, as well as the land that produces your food. Your membership supports local, sustainable agriculture.

This year we are very excited. We have been CSA farmers for 9 years and think that this will be our best by far. We have opened up new land, added bees, and a very diverse array of veggies. We are offering half and whole shares.
Pick-up locations and times.
Lincoln pickup will be at Meadowlark Coffee, 16th and South. When you register you will be given all the info you need. Lincoln pickup will be on Wednesdays from 4 til 6 pm.
